Tusi observatory, located 45km south of city Tabriz, Iran. Built on 1970s. It got three scopes, a 24" (still is the biggest scope of Iran before running of 3 meter Iran's national observatory) a 16" and a Carl Zeiss 6" solar telescope (Visible and H-Alpha). Toosi is name of "Nasir al-Din al-Tusi" Iranian Astronomer (1201-1274 AD) writer of famous " Zij-i ilkhani" book and founder of "Maragheh observatory".
