As a matter of fact, I just use Photoshop to deal with all the processing issues. But I certainly consider using PixInsight if I found myself very serious about Astro-image processing in the near future.
For correcting color it is better to use color calibration methods. In PixInsight, PhotonetricColorCalibration data will correct it.
First of all, Thanks for sharing the calibrated data for this subject. secondly, I have a question about the data which I think it comes from my lack of enough experience in this field.
The question is why a plenty of tiny green stars appear in the RGB combined photo. I cannot correct their color. Neither the levels help nor the curves.
I would appreciate it if you could help me.
In addition, I think somehow I could notice their presence in your processed version too.
